Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political advisor who served as the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 222. A part of the Democratic Party, she previously served in the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) and the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013-2015) as well as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was an election contributor to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki began her career with the 2001 re-election campaign in Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack, both Democrats running for U.S. Senate. Psaki became John Kerry's press secretary deputy in 2004. Psaki also worked as communications director for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) as well as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as the press secretary for President Obama's 2012 reelection campaign. 20 Psaki resigned as spokesperson for United States Department of State, on February 11 2013. The appointment at the Department of State fueled speculation that she would succeed White House Press Secretary Jay Carney as he left for the White House,[21] but on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014 it was announced Josh Earnest would replace Carney. She was appointed Communications Director at the White House and continued to perform this role until the end in 2015.
